here i want to share about y we,malaysian people should't buy US iphone set...
if u found an iphone 4especially which been sell with a very low price such as
RM 1.5k below and it a new set...there's is probability that is US iphone set or any lock set.
the problem with US set or any lock set are :
- u cannot insert any sim card unless it's from the telco that been set
- normally,the iphone that they sell with cheap price are already been jailbreak using software unlock.
- yes..after jailbreak unlock,u can insert our local sim card n use it normaly nut the main problem is,if u restore the iphone or update it to the latest os version,the phone will b lock n cannot b use for now.
- the jailbreak that been used b4 have gone and the iphone will be unlock.
- the only way to unlock the phone is use the US original iphone telco for the phone.
- some are using Gevey sim card which later will cause u some problem
- or u can wait for the next jailbreak unlock from hackers,then u can unlock n use ur iphone
- the term factory unlock or sim free means that the phone can b insert n used by any sim card in the world,no lock if update or restore ur iphone.
but recently,in US also,they are selling sim free set...so..there's no problem with that
don't buy an iphone without asking weather it is from where or what set.
Singapore,hong kong,UK set r sim free set...
but make sure u ask if u dont want to b cheat.
to day is 28 October,iphone 4s will b launch today in singapore,the price should b around rm 2.8k if the reseller buy there n sell here.
hope we can get the best price.
